Cancellation Policy/Rescheduling Policy
We must receive your cancellation at least fifteen (15) business days prior to the start date of your scheduled class in order for you to receive a refund. If you have to cancel or reschedule, you must do so in writing by e-mailing to cancellation@babsim.com or mailing a hardcopy letter to Babbage Simmel, ATTN: Cancellation, 1900 E. Dublin Granville Road, Suite 108 Columbus, OH 43229. If you must reschedule or cancel less than fifteen (15) business days before the first day of class, you will be liable for a fee amounting to 100% of the tuition cost. Students may send a replacement student if they are unable to attend; the replacement student must meet the course prerequisites before they would be allowed to attend. Students who neither cancel nor attend the class are still liable for the full cost of the class.

If your purchase is made using a discount, promotion or special program additional terms and conditions may apply.

Class Attendance Policy
You must attend a minimum of 80% of the class (measured in total hours of actual class instruction time, excluding breaks and lunch) to receive a certification of completion. There is generally one break of 10-15 minutes in both the morning and afternoon; please return from breaks in a timely fashion. Most courses are packed tightly with important information—we don’t want you to miss anything. Lunch is generally one hour and taken sometime between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. All that being said, it is really up to the students in the class (and their instructor) to decide as a group how and exactly when they would like to take breaks and lunch.

Class Audit/Retake Policy (some restrictions apply)
We guarantee your satisfaction with your educational experience with Babbage Simmel. To that end, we have created our Audit/Retake Policy:
Attend any class you have already both (a) paid for in full, and (b) attended in the past at Babbage Simmel.

“Why Audit?” – Any number of reasons make this a valuable benefit of taking Babbage Simmel courses… Getting a “refresher” to further entrench the knowledge in your mind, pick up information and tips you didn’t the first time, as a final review before taking an exam, get further insights from our instructors, etc.

Eligibility to Audit/Retake: (1) The course you want to Audit cannot have been revised since the time you first paid for and attended it (and you must bring your original student kit/courseware back with you), (2) there is a seat available, and (3) it has been less than twelve months since you first attended the class.
