Changes to Business Analysis Certifications – Part 2 will focus on the new multi-level, competency-based certification program that the International Institute of Business Analysis™(IIBA®) is launching in September.
In case you missed it, Changes to Business Analysis Certifications – Part 1 focuses on the specific changes to the Certified Business Analysis Professional™(CBAP®) certification.
IIBA® is launching a new Business Analysis competency-based certification framework in September 2016. This new model will include an enhanced, multi-level certification program that recognizes the candidate’s knowledge, skills and experience as they progress through their BA career.
There will now be four levels of certification in the new framework and each will their own specific eligibility requirements.
The four levels are as follows:
Level 1: Entry Certificate in Business Analysis™(ECBA®)
Level 2: Certification of Capability in Business Analysis™(CCBA®)
Level 3: Certified Business Analysis Professional™(CBAP®)
Level 4: Certified Business Analysis Thought Leader™(CBATL®)
