Earning an IIBA^® professional certification offers many benefits to both the individual and the organization employing or engaging them.

IIBA ^® assists in the educational needs of its members by identifying education providers who offer courses on business analysis that are aligned with the IIBA Business Analysis Body of Knowledge ^® (BABOK ^® ).  Providers offering business analysis courses that meet specific criteria are designated as “endorsed” and become members of the Endorsed Education Provider ( EEP™) Program. Babbage Simmel is an IIBA® Endorsed Education Provider, Charter Member.

Both the Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP^®) and Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA™) designations are professional certifications.

The CBAP^® and  CCBA™ designations are only granted once individuals have met educational, experience, and knowledge requirements, rather than being strictly knowledge-based (i.e. passing an exam).
