BizTalk Expert Series: ESB

Learn how to design and build an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB 2.1) in a BizTalk Server environment. This course is taught by expert BizTalk trainers who have delivered more BizTalk training than any other training company in the world.

Through classroom demonstration, informed lecture, and intensive hands-on labs, you will learn to install and use the BizTalk ESB Toolkit 2.1 to create a flexible, secure, and reusable infrastructure for services, and to build composite applications, using existing services, to create new end-to-end business processes.

At the course completion, students will be able to:

  • Identify ESB implementation scenarios

  • Install and configure the BizTalk ESB Toolkit 2.1 components

  • Examine the functionality of the internal ESB engine

  • Process messages using ESB Itinerary services

  • Create custom itinerary services

  • Call the ESB resolution transformation services

  • Configure external systems to resolve ESB endpoints

  • Capture and route failed BizTalk messages

  • Extract and normalize exceptions

  • Monitor exceptions in the web-based ESB Management Console

  • Manage exceptions using custom event handlers

  • Extend the ESBG core components
