His IT career started out in Enterprise Management and morphed into IT Service Management. He has achieved the ITIL Expert certification and currently trains ITIL Foundations and Intermediate courses, in addition to consulting work. Eric has assisted clients with IT Service Management initiatives, including assessments of IT maturity, projects in the ITIL process areas of Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, Release & Deployment, and Supplier Management. He also has been engaged in projects involving IT Governance.
Eric is active in the IT Service Management Forum (itSMF) as a board member, and has spoken at various user group meetings, including the Help Desk Institute, on topics such as the key role of the Service Catalog in IT Service Management.
